The Story of Stuff is available to watch and download free by following the link below. Please feel free to download, duplicate and share the film for non-commercial use as much as you would like.

Due to the length of the film and bandwidth limitations, we are only able to offer a .mov file at slightly lower quality than what is available for viewing on the website. We realize that not everyone has high speed internet and some people will want a higher resolution file than the downloadable one, so we have some DVDs of The Story of Stuff available for a $10 donation. For each $10 donation you will receive one Story of Stuff DVD as a "thank you" for supporting the project.

Ordering the DVD online is through Hesperian, an allied organization, who handles our online ordering and shipping. By clicking the button below you will be directed to their site in a new window, where you can order the DVD.

Discounts are available for orders over 10 DVDs or for non-profit organizations with limited resources which plan to use the film in their organizing or educational activities. Currently, The Story of Stuff is only available in English. We will be working on translated versions during 2008 and will announce these on the blog as they are completed.

Please allow 3-6 weeks for shipping. We will do our best to get your DVDs to you within a two week time frame, but stuff happens. If you need the DVD for an event or screening on a specific date and haven't accommodated for our super slow shipping please call us at 510.464.1044 and please be prepared to pay for priority shipping.
